Andrea Patzius:
Co-owner of Patzius Performing Arts for over 37 years. Andrea founded Midwest Ballet Theatre, the studio's pre-profefssional student
ballet company which provides extra performance opportunities for our
most talented and dedicated students. Andrea is a member of Dance St. Louis,
Dance Masters of America, and St. Louis Dance Teachers Association Ch. 21 where she is certified in ballet and tap. Andrea has over
45 years of teaching experience and her
excellent teaching skills have produced many professional dancers.
Donna Patzius-Hill:
Originally a student of Patzius Performing Arts, Donna went on to a
professional dance career. She has danced principal roles with Ballet West
in Salt Lake City UT, Atlanta Ballet, and BalletMet in Columbus OH.
Donna was also a trainee with Milwaukee Ballet. Her signature role was
Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. Since returning home to St. Louis, Donna
has been the Artistic Director of Midwest Ballet Theatre where she
privately coaches the advanced students. She has also
choreographed dozens of ballets specifically for the company. Donna is
certified in ballet and jazz from the Dance Masters of America, and
St. Louis Dancing Teachers Association Ch. 21.
Kelly Keeling:
A former student of Patzius Performing Arts, Kelly went on to a
professional career in dance. She has performed for Royal Caribbean
Cruise Lines in Miami FL, Walt Disney MGM Studios in Miami FL,
Disneyland Tokyo in Japan, and Dino Katsonakis in Branson MO.
Kelly has also performed for the Rosie O'Donnell Show in Beauty and the
Beast. Having returned home to St. Louis, we are proud to have Kelly
as one of our teachers. She teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, and hip-hop.
Doris Patzius:
A former student of Patzius Performing Arts, Doris is a Safety
Certified Member of USA Gymnastics, the National Governing Body (NGB)
for the sport of gymnastics in the U.S. and has over 15 years of
teaching experience.
Isabel Duplantier: Isabel has been a student of Patzius Performing Arts for 14 years and is currently a member of Midwest Ballet Theatre. A teaching assistant/substitute for seven years, Isabel now teaches Pre-dance levels 1 & 2.
MUSIC:
Raymond Patzius:
Co-owner of Patzius Performing Arts for over 30 years. Raymond is the
master guitar teacher who has many musical faces. He is fluent in classical,
jazz, blue grass, country, rock, and contemporary. With his love of
music, Raymond has composed several music albums for dance class that have been sold
around the world. He is also the Artistic Director of the jam session
classes where our most advanced music and voice students can get
together and share their ideas.
Sally Stein:
Sally has over 25 years experience in teaching piano and guitar lessons
to student of all ages and technique levels. She has a BS Fine Arts
degree from North East Missouri State.
Allison Kelly: Guitar, violin, & piano teacher. Currently majoring in music education (instrumental/general) at Webster University, Allison is an active member and current secretary of the school's Collegiate Music Educators National Conference.
Meridith Pitts: Voice teacher. Music Education Major at Webster University.
