Patzius Performing Arts and Midwest Dance Theatre will perform outdoors in the Grand Center Arts & Entertainment District. This is a free performance.60x60 -- Sunday, October 3, 2010, Sheldon Concert Hall
The work pairs 60 unique 60-second music compositions - each by a different composer - with 60 St. Louis choreographers for a continuous one-hour concert of music and live dance.Youth America Grand Prix Ballet Competition -- February 4-6, 2011, Indianapolis IN.
YAGP is the only student ballet competition in America which awards scholarships to the leading dance schools in the US and abroad. It is a great stepping stone to a professional career. Each of our senior company members has the opportunity to perform and compete in contemporary and classical ballet variations. Each solo is adjudicated by the outstanding world-renowned staff of YAGP.
National Dance Week -- TBA - late April 2011, Union Station
Midwest Dance Theatre will perform with 49 other dance groups from the St. Louis area. Sponsored by National Dance Week & St. Louis Union Station. This is a free performance.
St. Louis Dance Festival -- May 6, 7, or 8, 2011, exact date available 2 weeks prior, Edison Theater, Washington University.
Three evenings of great dance by MDT and many other companies in the community. Hosted by Dr. Prem of Dances of India. Tickets are $20.
